Everyone is invited to the opening event of the new community garden “Garden Pearls at Mēru Manor”.

During the event, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the new garden and learn about the idea behind its creation, as well as attend an educational lecture “Raised Beds – History, Establishment, Plant Selection and Maintenance”, led by landscape designer Vineta Radziņa.

The lecture will provide an insight into the history and use of raised beds, the principles of their establishment, the selection of suitable materials, as well as planting and plant maintenance. The lecture will also cover the principles of historical garden planning, characteristic plants and landscape elements.

At the end of the event, everyone is invited to take part in a joint planting activity, helping to enrich and bring the new community garden at Mēru Manor to life.
