Exhibition "Garden of Secrets" at the Botanical Garden of the University of Tartu

From 9 June to 17 July, the exhibition "Garden of Secrets" - porcelain paintings by Malle Erend, is open in the classroom of the Botanical Garden of the University of Tartu.
Malle Erend has been painting porcelain since 1996 under the guidance of the porcelain painting society LĂŒster teacher Mai Kolossova. She has always liked beautiful dishes and the best way to get them is to paint a suitable pattern or design on porcelain. "Each completed work is special and unique, because there is no other like it. I have drawn inspiration from both nature and the porcelain painting workshops I have attended," says Malle.
From 2024 to 2026, Malle Erend has had solo exhibitions at the University of Tartu PĂ€rnu College, TalTech Library, Keila Cultural Center, JÔÔpre School Library, VĂ€ike-ĂismĂ€e Library, and Pelguranna Library.
In addition to porcelain painting, Malle has also been involved in silk painting and making handmade cards.
