On May 1–2, the Latvian Plant Fair will take place at Sigulda Festival Square—one of the most anticipated spring gardening events in the Baltics. Each year, it attracts thousands of visitors and marks the start of the gardening season.

This year, partners of the “Garden Pearls for All” project will also take part, inviting visitors not only to explore and purchase plants, but also to experience gardens as places where nature, people, and accessibility come together in a shared story.

“Garden Pearls for All” will be located at booth C28, where visitors can learn more about gardens and parks in Latvia and Estonia, meet their caretakers, and discover how these places are becoming more accessible to diverse groups in society.

“Every garden has its own story, and it is best told by the person who tends it. That is why we invite you to come, have a conversation, and get inspired,” say the project representatives.

The Latvian Plant Fair is taking place for the 22nd time this year and has become a well-established tradition in the Baltics. The highest recorded number of visitors has reached approximately 30,000.
